23rd September 16:55

During a quiet moment of the weather hold, the meet director is earning his keep!

23rd September 16:30

The weather has been off and on all day so far, however quite a few lifts have gone up despite the high winds. 2-Sequential is complete up to round 4. The CF 4-way Speed and Rotations are typically done on the same lift, with the fastest build being the first part of the event and then the rotations segment starting immediately after. What is interesting to see is the first use of PD Velocities as CF canopies in the 2-way sequential as part of Team Heat who are in first place at the moment. Round 4 saw them score an 8 in time with 9 just out. Right behind them within 3 points are CFUK who have been in the competition season for a long time. In addition this is selection year for next year's Nationals.

8-way Speed has all but been completed with only a few teams to do their 6th round. Round 4 has been fully judged and posted on the boards. At the moment Village Green Preservation Society are in the lead by just a few seconds over Better 8 Than Never. Everyone has had there good rounds and bad rounds. It is testament to the discipline that trained teams can get under 10 seconds for there build times.

22nd September 15:45

Round 2 has been completed for the 2-way Sequential CF and the 8-way Speed FS. In the 8-way Speed, there are 2 evenly matched more experienced teams and 2 evenly matched junior teams. It will be interesting to see the scores on the board. The judges have just finished judging the CF and the Cametrix team are converting the judging system over for the FS.

22nd September 13:15

To bring everyone up to date, there was a large portion of sunshine after the 2-way sequential started. The 8-way Speed have all completed round 1 and the judges are now working hard viewing the footage.

22nd September 11:10

Unfortunately, there is quite a lot of cloud cover over the DZ this morning. However the 2-way sequential is just about to start. The draws are as follows for the CF:

  Round1 Round2 Round3 Round4 Round5 Round7
2-way
Sequential
E C B A F E A D C B D C F E A C A D E B F E B C A D F A E B
4-way
Sequential
J 4 H B 7 G E I 13 10 C 11 3 N K 8 5

The first load has just taken off now.

In the 8-way Speed, the 4 teams who have entered are waiting to find out what the cloud altitude and density are like for the CF boys.
