Weekend 4th to 5th February
After a weekend away at the AGM, it was great to see skydivers keen to get some jumping in before the purported snow coming over from Europe arrived.
Unfortunately the winds were just over for York university students who had arrived Friday evening but it did mean that licenced skydivers could continue jumping. Taking advantage of the blue skies, Krystian completed his dive to 3-way and quickly followed it up with his first and only attempt required at FS1. A great skydive all around with a good strong exit followed by a very comfortable7 points. We look forward to seeing Krystian is the sky throwing some cool shapes out soon.

Elsewhere in Hibbletown Blyth Davies and Ant Hill both passed their FS coaches rating with suitable aplomb and will be joining the Foundry Coaching pool - good news to all the FS students out there!

The snow rolled in Saturday evening and with it, the end of skydiving for the weekend, but even though it was cold outside, jumpers pulled on their PJs and enjoyed an evening of good chat. Did you know that most skydivers choose Airplane as the funniest film ever? Nether did we until Saturday evening!
See you next weekend for Safety day and more skydiving.
