Saint Michael’s is looking for 40 fun-loving fundraisers to take to the skies and make their first tandem skydive by raising money for people living with terminal illness and bereavement in the Harrogate district.

The charity provides specialised care to more than 2,400 per year through its inpatient unit, day therapy unit, lymphoedema clinic, planned respite care and bereavement support services. It also makes on average 18 visits a day to provide care and support for patients living in their own homes across the district.

It costs Saint Michael’s £3.9m each year to maintain its current service levels and more than 80 per cent of this comes from the local community through gifts left by people in their wills, general donations and fundraising campaigns and events, such as this skydive spectacular!

How Much Does It Cost?
Saint Michael's asks that you raise a minimum of £395 in sponsorship (per person) to take part.

Any money you raise over the minimum amount will all go to the charity.

When Can I Jump?
The first two events in February and March were such a success that Saint Michael's Hospice is running a third charity skydive on Saturday 4th August 2012.
