Skydiving in Support of Men's Health Week - June 2011
Skydive Hibaldstow is organising a week of adrenaline fuelled skydiving adventures including charity skydives and solo parachute training courses as well as events for experienced jumpers to coincide with Men’s Health Week 2011 including charity
Freefall Formation
Beginning on Saturday 11th June, 40 qualified sky divers will take to the skies in an attempt to join together in freefall in the formation of the ‘male’ symbol.
Practice jumps for ‘Brit Dicks’ will commence with smaller groups on the Saturday culminating in the full sized symbol formation of forty skydivers on the Sunday. If all goes well there is the potential for an additional skydive to create the worlds largest phallic formation in freefall!
Tandem Skydives in Aid of The Prostate Cancer Charity
During the week Monday 13th – Friday 17th June members of the public are invited to skydive in aid of The Prostate Cancer Charity, safely strapped to the front of a qualified Instructor.
Skydive Hibaldstow is offering discounted Tandem skydives to anyone jumping during Men’s Health Week and participants simply need to fundraise a minimum of £400 and the cost of their skydive is covered. Plus of course, every extra penny raised over this amount will also go to a good cause.
This event is also extended to all men’s health related charities in the area who might want to take part to fundraise for their own cause. Skydive Hibaldstow offers the highest skydive in the country at 15,000ft and jumpers can experience one full minute of freefall at 120mph over the Lincolnshire countryside.

The training takes one full day with the jump from 4.500ft on Thursday morning in which after a solo exit the parachute is opened automatically by a static line attached to the aircraft and the student flies and lands the parachute themselves.
