1. Why did you decide to do a charity tandem skydive over say a sponsored walk or run?

I have done two charity runs in the past and whilst I would have gladly done another this year, I wanted to take on a different personal challenge - I have for years wanted to jump out of a plane at dizzy heights but always found an excuse not to do it!! By doing the jump for a charity and seeing the sponsorship come rolling in, it committed me to seeing the skydive through, there was no way of backing out!

2. You are raising money for the Beat Blood Cancer charity. Do you have any personal connection with them?

My Dad was diagnosed with MDS (myelodysplastic syndromes), a rare type of blood cancer in August 2011. Treatment of this disease is difficult and there is no easy fix or cure, well at least not yet, which is why raising money for the charity and their research is so important to me.
