The Birds

A blow-out weekend for weather at Hibaldstow, but still, some flyers turn up. One such group are the Birds.

Their full name is a bit heavy for press, but let's take a look at them anyway.

Dawn, Dean, Kane and Andy are a strange bunch. With exception to four letter names, they don't have much in common. They are from all over the country, different ages, lifestyle, and very different attitudes to skydiving. But get them together on a monthly basis... well they just seem to work.

Why commit to being in a rookie 4-way team?

Andy: 

It's good to have goals to work to and improve your skills.
Dawn: 
It's a great way to develop the discipine needed to be a really good belly flyer, which is tremendous fun in itself but also provides a good foundation for all other types of flying.
Kane:  
From a rookie point of view, I really feel like it is a great opportunity to develop your belly skills and learn to fly a slot. Being in the team gives you the chance to do so alongside other of likeminded individuals, all of whom are invested in each others development. Therefore it's a very supportive and safe environment in which to learn.
