Weekend 13th - 14th November 2010 - It's all about York again

The minibus rolled up on Friday night and with it, over 20 skydiving students keen to get started and wanting to exit our aircraft in an orderly fashion. It was the third weekend in a row that courses had ran, and after the success of the previous two, the DZ was working hard to keep people jumping. Yet another good November weekend presented itself to us and the DZ sprang into life. Coaching continued, fun jumps were, well, fun jumped.

Perhaps the highlight of the weekend however was the now infamous York jump where jumpers spelled out Y-O-R-K in the sky. Small for now, but as more Yorkies qualify it's sure to get bigger.

Saturday night brought a rare treat. Stubert dressed in drag for a night of Blankety Blank. Students and regulars participated in 8 rounds of guess the missing word while being scared at how attractive Stu was as a lady.
