There are
many centres in the UK which offer skydiving courses, so
why should you choose Target Skysports? For start, we
are a British Parachute Association affiliated centre.
This means we operate our parachute centre to the
highest standards in safety.
It is a well known fact
that to become a sky diving instructor under the BPA,
you have to pass the hardest instructional system in the
world.
Here are a few more
reasons for choosing us to do first jump course with:
?
Our Chief
Centre Instructor (CCI) is an Examiner within
the BPA. He helps to develop the sport, set new
standards in safety and oversee the instructors
at our centre.
The instructors
at our centre have combined jump numbers in excess of 25,000
jumps and over 75 years experience.
We have been
the host to the British National Championships
in Formation Skydiving for the last 10 out of 11
years.
If you are
looking for high altitude sky diving then Target
Skysports is the best place to jump. We fly up
to 15,000ft in our fleet of turbine
aircraft.
The manifesting
system at the dropzone is recognised as one of
the most efficient in the country. We specialise
in a speedy turn around, which results in less
waiting time on the ground.
The location of
the dropzone is on an old World War II airfield.
Consequently, we have a large area to land and
few hazards.
We offer a
video facility for our
Tandem parachuting
customers. You can hire a camera person to come
with you on your skydive. They will take video
footage and still photographs to produce a
well-edited DVD of your day.
Whilst you are
waiting to do your
first skydive, you can wait
in our cafe or games room. Hot food and drinks
are available throughout the day.
Our centre has
a large bunk house facility. Rooms are made up
of between 4 and 6 beds with each room having
television. If you are staying over, you can
also enjoy a drink in our bar area.
If you are
looking for something a bit different to
celebrate an event, then maybe skydiving is for
you. Corporate events, sales events, stag
weekends, hen weekends and activity breaks.
