Our Customer Experience team look after our skydive customers all the way through their journey from a booking enquiry to check in on arrival and remain the main point of contact throughout the day up until departure.
The role involves taking skydive bookings, event and course registrations over the phone, answering all and any types of enquiry, following up potential sales and up-selling, working to simple targets and assisting with office admin.
On arrival, the team welcomes customers, processes and checks important paperwork, takes payments and acts as a point of contact throughout the day, ensuring that certificates and video packages are issued and providing information to spectators.
In addition, the team will assist qualified sports skydivers with their accounts and jump tickets.

On occasion, suitable team members will be required to assist with promotional activities both on and offsite. The Dropzone can be a busy and exciting place, where customers join us for the thrill of a lifetime.
As there is a strong sales element to the role, a basic understanding of enquiry to sale conversion is preferred, with a background in customer services, hotel /leisure /sports reservations, sales or retail. Due to our rural location and the early starts on some days, having your own transport is advisable although there is a local bus service to Hibaldstow village.
Skydive Hibaldstow is open 7 days a week for bookings, so the working rota will include weekends as well as some evening shifts. Weekend working can be done on a rotational basis unless you prefer to work weekends of course
We are looking for applicants with a positive demeanour who can deliver and maintain a high standard of customer service and have an excellent phone manner.
All team members must be organised and able to prioritise their own workload. In particular being pro-active, quick to learn, able to multi-task and show initiative are desirable qualities.
Due to our bespoke computerised booking software all team members must be computer literate (word, excel and outlook as a minimum) with an ability to pick up new systems quickly.
Experience of skydiving is not essential, but would be advantageous, however training will be provided in this area. There will of course be an initial learning curve with the expectation that all staff make every effort to improve their product knowledge as quickly as possible
This is a unique role within a fun, friendly team and as an added bonus, you can always learn to skydive with us if you develop the bug! We are looking for our new Team Members to come on board in March to start training ahead of our busy season.
Shifts can start anytime between 7am and 1pm and will include evenings in the Summer months with each team member being asked to rotate through shift patterns to ensure that we have adequate cover at busy times.
Full time and Part time roles are available, the hours can be flexible to accommodate personal commitments.
