What’s On March

The weather is finally starting to warm up and we’ve got lots of cool skydiving events action planned for you this month:

Along with our resident coach Catherine Leather, we also see the return of Debbie Lamsley and Craig Anderson. All three are super experienced skydivers and regularly run their own coaching weekends in the tunnel too. It doesn’t matter what level you are, they are on hand to get you having fun with like-minded skydivers and work on your individual skills.

This month, we also see the return of Team Nova made up of Chris Mayhew and Ed Cracknell who are both on the British Freestyle team and soon to compete at the World Cup in Eloy. They’re planning on being at Skydive Hibaldstow every month as part of their skydiving events residency, so get involved with their freefly coaching and load organising. Even if you have your FF1 and FF2, they would love to impart some of their freestyle knowledge on this specialised and beautiful discipline. Learn about the best camera angles, how to control rotations in multiple axis and how to create a routine.

Next up, we have Simon Brentford returning to organise the 6-way FS competition. It’s not like your average formation skydiving comp, this one’s multi-disciplinary. It kicks off with a spot of speed star, then there’s a load of formations to do and finally, a mini-accuracy meet. We ran it last year and it was a great success. Lastly, we are pleased to announce a new event for you – we have Team Groomed coming to our dz to give you nothing but awesome 8-way knowledge. There are several teams already registered and they are keen to teach!
