• What Does Skydiving Feel Like? It’s hard to put into words – but here’s our best shot. Skydiving feels like pure freedom., you can’t really sense that you are doing 120mph, however, it’s noisy and very windy! The views are amazing in freefall. Surprisingly, it doesn’t feel like falling at all, it’s more like floating sensation on a cushion of air. It’s exhilarating all the way.
• What Does the Parachuting Bit Feel Like? After the skydive, comes the more calming and peaceful parachuting part of the jump. You will slow down from 120mph down to about 20mph above the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. It’s a lot quieter and completely different to the freefall part of the experience. The parachute will descend over the next 4 to 5 minutes and your instructor will guide you back to the dropzone for a gentle sliding in landing. The views are simply breath-taking.
• Do You Need Previous Experience? Not at all. Our instructors have passed rigorous exams so that you don’t have to. You can expect to attend a 15 minute briefing where you will be shown everything which is expected of you. After that, you will be called up in order of registration on the day. We will fit you into a comfortable harness which will be adjusted to your measurements. Then it’s time to go with your instructor onto the airplane!
