The new season is kicking off.
March was pretty rubbish for weather, but April has redeemed 2026 so far with some glorious days and all you sporties coming out of winter hibernation. If you have jumped with us recently, you will know that unfortunately, due to the political issues going on in the Middle East, we currently have a £2 fuel surcharge on jump tickets. We will remove this as soon as we can.
Ged has slowly worked his way into the full-time team after a long stint at Sibson. He’s got plenty of energy, so we’re pleased he is going to be with us more often.

As we push further towards the peak season, we have started welcoming some new staff. After spending many years as a teacher, Mehmet has ditched a life at the whiteboard for one on the packing mat so he can pursue his skydiving career. Make sure you say hello when you see him.

In April, Fabrizio hosted the Fab Jumps with a big turnout for plenty of formation jumps and a sneaky little multi-plane to end the weekend.
We’ve got more multi-plane action lined up for this season, so if you’re interested, go and have a look at the events on our Facebook page.

You may have noticed that Paul Dorward has been around the DZ. Not only did he host a Flight-1 course at the beginning of the month, but he has also been here giving canopy coaching to anyone who needs it (including the staff!).
He’s hoping to host a UK Valkyrie record here in September, so he is getting the canopy pilots ready for it. Keep an eye out for more canopy courses coming soon.
