Belly to back transition

Angle flying, or tracking jumps, are a popular discipline in the world of freefly. Go to any dropzone, you’re going to find some angle flyers. We know, like our customers, that when you are flying an angle jump, close together, there’s nothing quite like that feeling. And even though it’s an absolute blast to jump, it’s not easy! That’s why we’re focused on making freefly coaching uk a bit easier to access through our blog.

Matty Mitchell is a freefly load organiser and coach in the sky and in the wind tunnels. Matty has been load organising for Skydive Hibaldstow, Skydive Spain and Skydive Algarve, all part of the Swallow Group dropzones.

“Always check your airspace and open the body as you transition to avoid dropping down.”

We filmed a coaching video with Matty giving us the down low on how to transition from belly to back in an angle jump. Check it out and see what you think.

Matty will be load organising at Skydive Hibaldstow this year. He’ll join one of the many weekends that we have freefly coaching and organising available. If you’re looking to increase your flying skills, learn some new tricks, or really push yourself in flying, then check us out this year. We continue to add events to our calendar for skydivers of all levels. As always, we offer one on one freefly coaching uk.
