The objective of this weekend is to set at least a 40 way BPA head down record.
Thurs/Fri are warm up and last minute qualifying jumps. The record Jumps are Saturday/Sunday.
To make this record successful, we are going to need everyone to play their part and support the national record. Old-school, new school, coaches, tunnel instructors, teams and super keen jumpers. This is also an excellent opportunity for people to get multiplane practice in preparation for something big in Europe next year. And more so than any other year before there are plenty of chances for people to train, get current or get noticed. There are also 2 practice / warm-ups days before the record! For the record, there will be a busy active jumping support team, with many chances to make the step over to the 3 plane group.
There is lots of promise, with many UK jumpers current with big ways, lots of top quality club jumping and enthusiasm. This will be the UK’s biggest free fly team, working towards this goal together. IIt’salso one of the few times we get to see so many of us in the same place at once.
Also if we get the record early, the biggest angle dive you’ve ever seen in these skies will be unleashed!
