Andy Godwin – Freefly Coaching

Andy Godwin returns for his 3rd year of residency at Skydive Hibaldstow as freefly coach. He still throws himself into helping new teams and for the last 3 years has filmed and coached freestyle, freefly, VFS & 4way at the UK Nationals and medalling in most. And that’s not stopping in 2020, so anyone thinking about competing, let him know. We think you will love his enthusiastic, friendly, easy-going and attentive coaching style!

“One of the successful new coaching styles that I have brought in which has evolved while working at Hib and liked by students is that I am contactable 24/7. Students can message, email, ring, WhatsApp, text me and then book a date when I am coaching. They can even choose how many jumps they want to do – by doing higher numbers of jumps during a day, they’ll see a massive improvement and that keeps them enthused.

For 2020, I already have students looking at dates and booking them in. For me, offering a level of service that manages expectations and delivers world-class service is what Hib have embraced and allowed me to develop, I have had students that are so close and I can always find an extra day to get the qualification for that trip they want to go on.”
