Age UK Rotherham
Age UK Rotherham provides companionship, advice and support for older people and is an independent local charity. They are working directly with us at Skydive Hibaldstow to offer charity skydives to anyone wanting to fundraise and help Age UK Rotherham celebrate its 30th Anniversary this year (1985-2015).
Fundraising is an essential activity which must happen to ensure they can deliver the breadth and quality of services older people need in Rotherham and to help end loneliness in the elderly.
How Much Does It Cost?
Age UK Rotherham asks that you raise a minimum of £400 to take part in a Charity tandem parachute jump. In addition a non-refundable deposit of £50 will be required at the time of booking with the balance payable upon arrival.
- Advance Deposit to secure your place payable to Skydive Hibaldstow – £50
- Balance to pay for the skydive on arrival to Skydive Hibaldstow – £150
- Final sponsorship cheque payable to Age UK Rotherham to be handed in on arrival – £275
Any funds raised above the minimum will all go to the charity.
When Can I Jump?
On any date we have availability. Skydive Hibaldstow is open for jumping.
Low season: 5 days a week (closed Mon/Tues)
Mid season: May/September 6 days a week (closed Tues)
June / July / August: open 7 days a week
How To Book
Fundraisers should:
- Pay a deposit in advance to secure their place of £50 to Skydive Hibaldstow. This is deducted from the actual cost of the skydive
- Fundraisers are encourage to raise a minimum of £400 in order to take part.
On the day of the skydive:
- Pay the balance of £150 for the cost of the skydive in cash or by card to Skydive Hibaldstow (this cannot be covered by online funds)
- Hand in a cheque payable to Age UK Rotherham for £275 OR has proof on online fundraising for £275+
