Tandem skydiving is designed to allow as many people as possible to enjoy freefall, however there are a few restrictions:

Weight - Tandem
The maximum acceptable weight for tandem skydiving is 16 stone (approx 100kg) fully clothed.

• Although it is less important to be physically fir for this type of skydive please be aware that not all conditions are suitable for all tandem students and, for your safety, the Centre Chief Instructor may choose to postpone your jump until wind conditions are more suitable. In some cases this unfortunately may result in your skydive being rescheduled for an alternative date.
• This particularly affects those tandem students who are elderly, less agile, have limited mobility or are otherwise less physically fit as well as *those who have a high body mass index of 27.5 or over* (please see chart on our restrictions document), particularly in females, or those close to the overall weight limit.

Age – Tandem
Overall minimum age is 16+.

• Age 16 - 17. The minimum age for tandem skydiving is 16 years. A parental/guardian signature of consent is required on three forms (the centre membership form, the BPA medical form and the BPA membership agreement) which will be provided upon booking.
• Age 16 – 39. Will be required to sign a BPA Tandem Student Declaration of fitness form. Those unable to sign the form due to medical conditions or injuries must bring a copy signed and stamped by their doctor instead.
• Age 40+. There is no upper age limit for tandem sky diving – we have had 90 year olds jump with us. However those aged 40 or over must bring a fully completed BPA Tandem Student Declaration of fitness form signed and stamped by their doctor along on the day of their jump.

Medical Conditions & Notes – Tandem
We regret that certain medical conditions may prevent you from taking part in a skydive. These include epilepsy, some cardiovascular and neurological conditions, some forms of diabetes and recurring injuries. A full list with notes can be found on the back of the medical form. Kindly note that we cannot accept letters or notes from doctors. This particular form must be used.

Your Safety
Our primary concern is for your safety and we may choose to postpone your jump if weather conditions are not suitable for a particular individual. As an experienced and professional dropzone, we hope that customers will respect our judgement.

• Tandem skydives can be booked any day from January 15th  - December 18th 2011, subject to availability.
• Skydive Hibaldstow is open on Sundays and Bank Holidays
• September – May: Open 6 days a week, closed only on Tuesdays
• June – August : Open 7 days a week

Summer evening Tandems from June to August
Now the long sun-filled summer evenings are finally here why not take advantage and do something different after work? We now offer Tandem skydives with arrival times of up to 6pm on Wednesday and Friday evenings.

How to book the experience of your life

• Payment of a non-refundable £75 deposit (or £95 with video)

Christmas Gift Vouchers
Kindly note that the last posting date for standard Royal Mail first class is Tuesday 20th December 2012. Bookings made by phone or online by 4pm on 20/12 will be posted that day.

Bookings made after this time will need to be sent Special Delivery in order to arrive in time for Christmas for which an additional postage fee will be charged.

• Special Delivery - £6.00: Book by 4pm Thursday 22nd December
• Special Delivery with Saturday guarantee + £9.24: Book by 11.30am Friday 23rd December

We understand you may need time to get everyone organised so we are happy to reserve places for groups of 10 or more for up to 4 weeks when deposits will need to be paid.

Skydive Hibaldstow is our main parachuting dropzone located in North Lincolnshire with easy access from the motorways and cities like Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, York, Hull, Nottingham, Lincoln and Grimsby.

We have customers travelling from all over the country to experience the highest skydive in the UK at 15,000ft. Some of our jumpers have travelled from as far away as Cornwall.

Jump in the South
However if you live in the south of the country and would prefer to skydive closer to home in the London area, then we would be pleased to arrange your jump with our friends near Brackley, Northants just off the M40.

• The dropzone offers Tandem Skydives and Accelerated Freefall (AFF) training.
• Static Line Parachuting is not available at our southern location.
• All skydives are from a maximum altitude of 13,000ft.

Customer notice: If you have previously received a brochure detailing an alternative Oxford location or have bought a gift voucher we regret that the Oxford dropzone will no longer be operational as of June 2011. The Brackley dropzone is only 20 minutes north and all existing Oxford customers who have not yet booked a date for their skydive will be relocated here. Please contact our Booking Office for more information.

Restrictions
The maximum weight restriction is 15 stone for both AFF & Tandem courses.

For the AFF course students must also be within the recommended maximum weight for their height as shown on the BPA Solo student declaration of fitness form.
