University Skydiving
Skydive Hibaldstow is pleased to be home to the York University Skydiving Club who run static line parachuting courses throughout their first and second terms, as well as AFF training and charity tandem events.
The York Uni skydiving club was in fact first established over 15 years ago by our very own ex-Chief Instructor and BPA examiner Paul Hollow, who is now flying our parachuting aircraft at Hibaldstow.
There is a thriving social scene at the dropzone which has overnight accommodation, a games room, bar and we 
also offer evening entertainment for the students.
Recent student socials include a Blankety Blank DZ edition and Skydiving X-Factor night.
If you are just starting at York then be sure to pay them a visit at the Freshers Fair from 10am to 4pm on 15th October 2011.

Static Line Parachuting
The next static line parachute courses are scheduled for Saturday 19th November 2011. These courses are discounted especially for York university club.

Skydiving in Spain
In April York University skydivers visited our sister dropzone Skydive Spain for a progression trip.

The dropzone operates in the warmest place in Europe, near to the historic city of Seville in Andalucia. They offer from beginners courses to advanced training and have hosted many combined university skydiving boogies. Our courses are taught using the British system by British speaking staff.
