So how does it work?

1. Buy your #LOVEISINTHEAIR tandem skydive here.
2. Next up, pick a date and time slot which works for you. You can do this by calling 01652 648837 to get yourself booked in.
3. Arrive at our dropzone on time wearing lots of loose and warm layers. Go to the Reception area so that we can ask you to complete your paperwork / sign your disclaimer.
4. Take a 15 minute training course where you will learn how the parachute works, what is expected of you in the airplane / freefall and how to have the best fun in your life.
5. Get kitted up – we will give you a jumpsuit, gloves and goggles to wear, plus the all important tandem harness.
6. Wait for your instructor to call you up, then get on the airplane and hook up to your instructor who will be sat behind you.
7. The ride to altitude takes around 12 minutes, it’s pretty fast due to our powerful airplanes. Not far from exit altitude, all the final checks, strap tightening activities will be completed.
8. At 15,000ft, the door will open, the green light will appear and you will both move to the doorway. If you have a camera flyer, they will actually climb onto the outside of the airplane to get that perfect exit shot. Now it’s time to take a leap of faith, trust the instructor to look after and join the world of skydiving!
9. Next, you will rapidly accelerate up to 120mph over the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds. Smile to your camera flyer, do some spins, enjoy the adrenaline rush and the freefall.
10. After nearly a minute, the instructor will open the parachute and that is where part-two begins.
11. You will float gently down under your tandem parachute back to the dropzone over the next four or five minutes. Maybe have a go at steering the parachute and finally come into landing for a soft touch down.
12. Go to the reception and pick up your jump certificate, you did it!
