Their Story
Freddie Jack McDonald was diagnosed with Chronic Liver Disease and Allagille Syndrome at just 24 weeks old.  He is 1 in 100,000 babies to be diagnosed with this condition.  As a family, we wanted to raise both awareness and money for a charity that our family would come to rely on more and more, especially as Freddie gets older and the challenges he will face. 

It all started as a drunken message saying that we should take part in a sky dive to raise money for the Childrens Liver Disease Foundation as this would be our challenge, to fall from the sky at 15,000 feet.  Two crazy Aunties, Lizzie and Linsey agreed to take part and 2 family friends also said they would help raise money for the chosen charity and raise awareness regarding Freddie’s condition.

The support both financial and emotional has been immense.  We never thought that we would raise such an amount of money.  Our initial target was £1500, that target was smashed in 3 days.  On our Just Giving site, at the last cou
