Christmas Time Skydiving

Welcome to our 2019 Christmas Skydiving offer and it’s a good one this year. We’re offering you the chance to get a fantastic discount off the price of our Anytime Skydiving Package. The cost of our tandem course has now dropped from £249 down to £199 which allows you to skydive from 15,000ft which is the highest altitude you can skydive from in the UK.

Our Christmas offer can be purchased in two ways:

1. Buy a simple £50 off voucher which can be offset against the normal price of our Anytime Tandem Skydive.
2. Spend £199 which is the total price of the Anytime Tandem Skydive. That means, when you arrive at our dropzone, you won’t have anymore to pay.

Lynsey’s First Skydive

Lynsey Pugh came to Skydive Hibaldstow in May for her first tandem skydive as a 40th birthday present from her husband. This year her actual birthday fell on a Saturday and it was kept hidden from her by her entire family. When she arrived at our dropzone, she thought she was meeting up for a meal with her family. Instead, she was rather surprised to be greeted by our staff who briefed her for a 15,000ft tandem skydive!

“When we drove into the car park, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Never in a million years would I of thought I’d try a parachute jump. But hey ho, why not!”

Initially, Lynsey had not paid for a video for the jump, but after having had her training, she changed her mind and we were pleased to supply one of our experts to capture the special moment. In the airplane, Lynsey was cool as a cucumber enjoying the ride to altitude.

And then the moment came for her to skydive from our Cessna Grand Caravan with our tandem instructor Baldrick.

“When the door opened, I don’t mind admitting that my heart rate jumped a few notches, but Baldrick was right there with me and I knew I could trust him. Once we were in freefall, the views were absolutely epic, it didn’t feel like we were falling at all. I only wished it could go on longer than the minute we had looking out over the Lincs countryside. I can’t recommend it enough, its so much fun, especially when it’s a surprise birthday pressy too!”

The tandem skydive from 15,000ft generally lasts a minute, at which point the instructor opens the parachute and you float gently back to earth for around 3 or 4 minutes. There’s a real contrast between the 120mph freefall and the calm ride under parachute back to our dropzone.
